Training for atheletes is different.

Training for athletes requires a much deeper understanding of biomechanics, and how to apply that knowledge to strength and conditioning. Sports require superior fitness levels, and skill sets. Athletes must encompass speed, agility, power, and strength. These will be the fundamentals of sport specific training. At Rove Fitness, we take sport-specific training very seriously. We know that you need to be prepared for battle (well, ok, maybe not battle, but close enough, right?).

The differences in position played and physical capacity needed for different sports makes it nearly impossible for a team coach to give every player the individual attention required to significantly improve their game. A kicker needs different training than a linebacker does. Because of this, we take a comprehensive look at the individual athlete’s needs and act accordingly. It’s about making any given athlete the best athlete they can possibly be!
